Maruti Suzuki has launched the updated Ignis for the 2023 model year. The car comes with an RDE-compliant engine and is priced at Rs 5.82 lakh (ex-showroom).

A 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine that now complies with BS6 Phase-II requirements powers the 2023 Ignis. It is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT and produces 82 BHP and 113 Nm.

The Ignis' base price has increased by Rs 30,000. The upgraded engine is partially to blame for this. On the Ignis, Maruti has also added more safety measures. All models of the vehicle now have ESP (Electronic Stability Program) and hill hold assistance.
