With the launch of 3 door Thar in 15th August 2020, Mahindra has announced global debut of 5 door Thar on 15th August 2023.
The new Thar will make its global debut in the region of South Africa first with complete new designs which will not be based on a Jeep!
Even though the debut of 5 door Thar will be made in 2023, its official launch will take place in 2024 in both Indian & South Africa.
South Africa is emerging as a prominent market for Mahindra and the company has been selling other models of their car in this market as well.
