The MG Hector is notable for its distinctive design, even if some people might not agree with it. The Hector does have a brash attitude and a powerful road presence. A chrome grille is added to the front fascia, updating the design.
With the vertical touchscreen display and the enormous MID mounted behind the steering wheel, the Hector receives a dual-tone black as well as champagne interior concept. The steering wheel, door pads, and air conditioner vents all have silver accents.
MG Hector petrol engines are normal and mild-hybrid. The turbo-petrol engine's automatic transmission works nicely with this 1.5-litre engine's 6-speed manual gearbox (missing with the diesel). Hector, a mild-hybrid 48V petrol hybrid, performs well.
Safety features include rear parking sensors, dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and ABS with EBD. Together with electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, hill holding control, a fatigue reminder, and traction control, there are curtain and side airbags.
The Indian MG Hector facelift starts with Rs 13.49 lakh. This major Hector SUV upgrade was shipped to India in June 2019. Style, Super, Smart, and Sharp are the four models.
