James Bond's Aston Martin V8 Is Going Up For Auction
The classic Aston Martin V8 that Timothy Dalton drove in the 1987 James Bond movie "The Living Daylights" will be auctioned off in Monterey, California.
This automobile, complete with all of its original accessories, is anticipated to bring anywhere between Rs 11.5 crore and Rs 15 crore.
The 15th installment of the James Bond film series included a key part for the Aston Martin V8, often known as "Number 10," and it marked the company's comeback as the manufacturer of the renowned "Bond cars."
What Was This Car’s Significant Role
The vehicle was owned by Eon Productions for more than ten years after its premiere in a motion picture until being sold to James Bond collector Peter Nelson in 1995. An unidentified US collector later purchased the Aston Martin.
The vehicle has undergone a complete repair and now has the original gadgets from the movie along with a 5.3-liter V8 and a five-speed ZF manual gearbox.
The most recent James Bond film, "No Time to Die," also had a Daniel Craig-driven Aston Martin V8 comparable to the one in "The Living Daylights."
