The new Prius has a coupe-like appearance, with a full-width LED light bar at the rear that is impossible to ignore. It's lower, wider and has a longer wheelbase than the previous Prius.
The interior has a Floating dashboard for infotainment and instrumentation and a warning system that will flash the ambient lights to alert the driver when objects are detected close to the car.
Toyota Prius will include a 1.8-litre and a 2.0-litre petrol engine mated to a strong-hybrid powertrain. Power output will be as high as 191bhp, and both models will feature Toyota’s E-Four AWD tech.
The new Prius gets the latest-gen Toyota Safety Sense bundle, including a monocular camera at the front, a rear-facing camera for the Digital Inner Mirror, and an in-vehicle drive recorder.
