parkplusio Tata Tiago EV and Citroen eC3 Comparison
parkplusio The eC3 is quirky, attractive, and has a desired SUV-like look thanks to its upright stance and body wrapping. Thanks to its closed-off front grille and air dam panels, the Tiago EV may be more easily recognized from its gasoline-powered predecessor.
Exterior
parkplusio The flap-style exterior door knobs of the eC3 seem a little dated, but after that, the inside is sleek and contemporary. The Tiago EV has a nice interior with innovative use of textured plastics, but the off-white color scheme really ups the attractiveness of the space.
Interior
parkplusio Its outstanding 10.2-inch display, which has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and is easy to operate, is without a doubt the showpiece. The Tata's dashboard and its little 7-inch touchscreen seem archaic in comparison to the eC3's contemporary style.
Features
parkplusio The Citroen eC3's electric powertrain, which generates 57 horsepower and 143 pound-feet of torque, is powered by a 29.2 kWh battery. With the Tiago EV, Tata provides two battery options: 19.2kWh and 24kWh. For our test, we used the latter, which powers a 74hp, 114Nm motor.
Performance
parkplusio We drove both of these vehicles back-to-back in comparable circumstances with occasional driver exchanges after charging the batteries to 100 percent. At the conclusion of our journey, both vehicles demonstrated equal fuel efficiency and produced 7.8 km/kWh.
Range
parkplusio The eC3's main feature, like that of other Citroens, is its comfortable ride. Even the Tiago EV's suspension is extremely absorbent when seen in isolation, but when compared to the eC3, it seems somewhat stiffer.
