The All New Compact Luxury From Mini
The third-generation Mini Countryman SUV has been revealed in advance of its worldwide debut early in 2019. The third-generation model becomes bigger while keeping a lot of the distinctive Mini design.
In terms of the external styling, the Countryman is still recognizable as a Mini, despite the fact that the brand seems to have abandoned some of the circular design cues from its forerunner. Although they still have the LED DRL rings, the headlights are more angular.
Moving on to the cabin, Mini has kept the circular design motif, albeit it has taken a more minimalistic approach than the previous model. At first look, the huge circular central touchscreen, which serves as the nerve center, will draw everyone's attention.
In terms of the drivetrains, the new Countryman is the first to be offered with an all-electric drivetrain. The Countryman E and Countryman SE All4 are the two options available. The E has a lone electric motor that produces 201 horsepower.
The charging rate for the all-electric Countryman is up to 130 kW DC and 22 kW AC. The latter will complete a 30 minute charge of the battery from 10% to 80%
The new Countryman is probably going to arrive in India the following year, but it's going to be a lot more expensive than the present model, which costs Rs 48.10 lakh.
