Many people use their cellphones to listen to music while they’re in the car. A cell phone is a surprisingly good way to pump out tunes, but it does come with risks.

Notifications are helpful,
but over time a phone’s notification system trains us to pick up our phone and to respond.
If you need directions and want music, but can’t keep yourself from checking your phone, it may be best to put it somewhere you can’t reach.
